Effective planners design focused, coherent sequences of connected lessons [that show a progression of learning over time toward proficiency and understanding].

My Greek Unit Plan artifact is a great example of learning target P2. For example, "effective planners design focused, coherent sequences of connected lessons" is exactly what this artifact demonstrates by providing other contents into the unit. This shows a progression of learning over time. I believe effective planning can be most beneficial if students are provided with more connections between contents, then just a particular content. The Greek Unit Plan absolutely demonstrates learning target P2 by not only connecting the content of math concepts, but by also providing connections between different contents of math, history and English.

Effective planners actively seek out research-based teaching and learning practices [including print, digital, and virtual resources and collections from professional organizations] to support their planning.

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) is always "seeking out research-based teaching and learning practices". Being a member of NCTM I routinely get notified about new "research-based teaching and learning practices". I attended the NCTM regional conference in Chicago, and my artifact explains what I did and my reflection of my learning experience. My NCTM artifact is a great example of learning target P3 because NCTM is a professional organization that provides resources to support my planning. Attending NCTM informed my planning in many ways. One being, finding purpose in my planning for instruction. For example, when planning for instruction or a lesson, it is important to think of what kinds of questions students might ask so you are prepared for any type of questions.
